Rooted in the beauty of the natural world and the call of adventure, I’m Tim Wes—a wedding and elopement photographer based in Maryland and Virginia, dedicated to capturing love stories that break free from convention. I specialize in intimate, outdoorsy celebrations—from elopements atop rugged peaks to artfully curated weddings infused with nature’s charm. At the heart of everything I do is my wife, Kristin—my best friend, my partner, my home. Our love story is the thread that weaves through all the stories I tell. Loving her has shown me just how deep, healing, and transformative love can be. She’s the reason I believe in connection that lasts—the kind that feels like coming home. The kind that, no matter how far apart you start, always leads you back to one another.

Together, we’ve built a life filled with intention, joy, and our two little boys—our cats, Theo and Dawson. They’re our everything. Our shadows, our comic relief, our softest comfort at the end of a long day—and the very bright start to the next when they loudly remind us it’s time for breakfast. The love we share for them, and the life we’ve created together, reminds me daily how meaningful the quiet moments are—the in-between, unscripted ones that hold the most truth.
